The wave observatory is placed on the small island Drejø, in Sydfyn, Denmark.
The nature observatory took inspiration from a work of ´landart´we made, where the rhythms of the waves were notated and visualised at the beach as a wave or sea notation.
The wave pavillon is placed in the sea with walls consisting of rudders that move with the waves as the island Drejø has a long tradition of shipping.
