the biopsy is a study of the the connection between the roof and the upper loadbearing wall of Karen and Ebbe Clemmensen´s house in Gentofte, Denmark built in 1953. The connection between materials and architecture is investigated as the interaction of materials in the building elements are seen as assemblages.
The importance of materials for the formation of form and space, in terms of constructive and building technical conditions together with phenomenologival and aesthetic conditions are studied.
